About Attorney Lee J. Johnson
Attorney Johnson became counsel to Rosenblum Newfield in 2010. She is respected nationally as an expert on health care law and risk management. Since 1993, she has been principal of Johnson and Associates, a risk management consultancy serving clients in the medical liability insurance, pharmaceutical and risk management education arenas. She is admitted to practice in New York and Ohio and to the Federal District Court, Eastern District.
Prior to founding her consultancy, Attorney Johnson served as an insurance executive for professional liability carriers Frontier Insurance Company and Medical Liability Mutual Insurance Company. In addition she has practiced in the area of medical liability defense.
For the past 15 years she has written the "Malpractice Consult" column in Medical Economics. She has also written "Your Malpractice Advisor" on Medscape. She believes that in medical risk management, excellent communications and documentation are key elements.
