About Kenneth A. Thomas, MD, JD, FACOG — Counsel

Physician and attorney Kenneth A. Thomas MD, JD, FACOG, joined Rosenblum Newfield as counsel in 2012. While earning his juris doctorate degree, Dr. Thomas also maintained his private, OB-GYN medical practice which he has operated since July 1985. He has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology since December 1987.
Having witnessed the evolution of medical practice over almost three decades, Dr. Thomas pursued his law degree in order to assist physicians in navigating an array of issues connected with contemporary medical practice. In his law practice, areas of focus include defending medical liability claims, negotiating relationships with hospitals, medical groups, and health insurers, representing physicians in disputes with health insurers, and consulting on developing areas of office practice, such as managing the risks associated with computerized medical records. Dr. Thomas is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
